I'm researching nursing programs and looking for a list of Direct Entry Nurse Practitioner programs (programs that accept students with bachelors/masters degrees in fields other than nursing that lead to a MSN or DNP as a Nurse Practitioner). I thought it may be helpful for others to start an ongoing list here...
So far I've found Yale, Columbia, UCSF, Vanderbilt, Boston College, UMass, Simmons, Northeastern, Azusa Pacific, University of WA, Samuel Merritt, UPenn, Vanderbilt, MGH, SeattleU, University of Rochester, Emory, University of Vermont.
There have to be many more out there. Do you know of any others?
(I know there is a hot debate here about whether or not direct entry programs are a good idea, and I feel like there are many other posts to debate that topic. I'm hoping this can be just a list of programs, and then each person can do their own due diligence about whether or not they want to attend one.)

I know the University of Texas, Austin has one.
When you see the blogs about these type of programs from nurses it's a lack of encouragement. Views are based on lack of experience to earn an NP with no experience. But many of these programs require you to work 2-3 years while attaining this degree. I would love to see what other schools have.

University of Maryland in Baltimore has one. I believe it’s to a clinical nurse leader.

And thank you for actually doing your own research, unlike so many that just post their question.

Regis College in Massachusetts and the University of Southern Maine both have direct entry programs.
