List CUNY schools 1-6

Published

I am applying to CUNY colleges and I can apply up to 6 colleges and I want to order them in a way so that number 1 would be the best choice for me.

Here is the list (in no particular order)

City Tech

Hunter

College of Staten Island

Lehman

Medgar Evers

York

How would you order it based on NCLEX passing rate/stories you have heard about the nursing program (being good/decent/bad)..even if you haven't attended one of these schools..please leave a list 1-6..of course 1 being the best choice...6 being the least..thanks

anyone? like i said..anything will be helpful

Hi

You can remove York College from your application list b/c York's nursing program is for people already have a RN license.

Good luck!

Kingsborough Community College also a good choice. Good luck.

Hunter has an excellent nursing program, and i am going for it at the end of this year. One thing i need to remind you is that hunter's nursing program is really competitive. I heard there are about 300 students apply every year and only 80 seats available.. so whoever rank in the top 80 based on their gpa and the score on the NLN will be accepted.

i hope i will get in, and you have to take 2 years of pre-requisites in order to be qualified to apply for this major. So you are like gambling with your time and $, since there's no guarantee of acceptance.

good luck.

Don't even bother applying to CSI, you'll never get in. Best one in my opinion.

Specializes in Critical Care.

CSI is actually not that hard. They say you need a 3.2-3.5 average. I don't know what it actually is.
