Liscensing in travel nursing

Hi,

I was wondering how does liscensing work if you are a traveler, do you have to retest for every different state?? thanks!

if your home state is listed above, then you can practice in any of the listed states. otherwise you can contact the board of nursing in the state you are interested in to find out their requirements. no, you do not have to retest, but you will have to jump thru their particular hoops to get a license there.

You never have to retest, once you take the NCLEX and pass, that is it. You jsut apply for endorsement to the state that you want licensure in if it isn't a compact state. Quite simple........... :)
