Liquid Stool - Orange

in clinicals today; needed stool sample from a pt w/ n/v/abd pain; labwork, xray unremarkable. it seriously was bright orange and liquid. can't find much info in my textbooks or on the web. never seen nor heard of it. any ideas? pt already had gallbladder out, appy. thanks!

Well good I am glad you found out what caused it. Alli must be like xenical. I'd rather be fat.

Thanks so much everyone! Pt reports using Alli for wt loss. I appreciate everyones input; this was a stumper.

That makes sense. I was going to report that when my son was getting doses of mineral oil (he was a bit of a hoarder), he would have orange oily stools that leaked. What a mess.
