Linfield University School of Nursing - 2025 Cohort

Published

Hi there! I didn't see a forum for Linfield University-Good Samaritan School of Nursing ABSN Summer 2025 Cohort so decided to make one. I received my offer letter on 3/14 and will be accepting. Did anyone else receive theirs or will also be in the same cohort, or just thoughts on it?

Hi!!
Me too! I'm so excited! Congrats!

Congrats Kelsie!!

Congrats! I'm stoked that I'll be joining you this Summer!

I've seen that other cohorts make FB pages should we do that? Then we can ask each other questions etc?

Yes, sure that'll help!

Congrats everyone! I also received an acceptance! So excited.

Hey y'all!

I applied for Fall cohort, however I am not a student that gets priority as I did my pre-reqs at MHCC. Did you guys take your pre-reqs at Linfield or are you a transfer? I won't find out if I got accepted until the 15th of this month.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Tysm! I'm also a transfer and did all of my prerequisites at a CC in CA. I don't think that matters, as long as you complete them and meet their requirements by the time you apply!

Hi there,

For anyone that receive the acceptance letter from Linfield, can you guys share with me your prereqs and overall GPA? Is it hard to get in Linfield BSN program?

I am currently applying to Linfield BSN program and anyone who's already in the program could share experiences?

I completed all pre-reqs at MHCC, and my GPA was 3.74 I believe. I got in, but turned it down once I received my financial aid package, as it is a veeeery expensive school. Right off the bat, you have to pay $400 basically to just secure your seat if you get in.

I really don't know how hard it is to get into, I can imagine that a lot of people decline if they do get in especially if they have offers from elsewhere simply because of the cost..

I heard that Linfield prioritizes their students first, only a few seats will be given to transfer students. On some forums, they say Fall is the most competitive term because lots of students will be applying to Linfield.
