Linfield University - Master's Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) 2023

Published

Hey guys I didn't see a forum for the MEPN program for Spring 2023. I was wondering if anyone was thinking about applying, how many people are normally accepted, what tuition would look like and all that. Have you guys been applying to any other entry programs? What made you apply to Linfield?

LOL I have my interview today too! Im so nervous now reading the comments that they felt the interview was impersonal? Not sure what that means

Haha 1:30? That is funny, that makes me think it will be easy to get through hopefully. I still don't really know how to prepare tho

Yes at 1:30. Don't feel too nervous I really do not feel prepared. Hopefully they don't throw us any weird odd questions

There will be 5 of us for about an hour and a half or less so I'm sure it will be okay. Yeah I'm hoping the questions will be more common or general since theres so many of us

Hi everyone,

Apologies, I am just seeing this now. I am a current MEPN student and congrats to everyone who got an interview ?. I do not remember the specific questions but generally it was about why this program, why you want to be a nurse, why Linfield, how you feel your background will help you in this program and what issue in your community you would like to be involved in after the program.

I have heard from a few other classmates that if you log in to zoom early you can see the questions before hand.

Good luck everyone! It is an intense program but worth it:)

Also, what is the best advice you've ever received. You get one minute to answer the question from what I remember. Good luck!

Hi, I had a couple questions since you are currently in the MEPN program. How are you liking the program so far and would you recommend it considering the costs? What are your goals with nursing?

Did you get in?

Hi yes I did

Congrats! So did I. Have you done the financial aid application yet? I'm wondering how much will be offered. Are you moving to Portland or do you already live close?

How much financial aid were you offered for the program?

Hi I am not sure how I can find that info? I log in and I just see the congrats admitted letter. Is there a certain tab I need to click?

I think you have to complete the FAFSA application first. Have you done it yet?
