Linfield University Fall Cohort - 2025

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for other that have applied for Linfield's Fall 2025 cohort, and are anxiously awaiting the decision!

If you applied, are you a transfer student or did you come from the McMinnville campus?

Hi! I just saw your post about MHCC program acceptation (I hope this is the same person). Congrats!! I am an alternate for MHCC but pretty high on the list. I am really nervous about this one. I am a transfer to them. Did all my prerequisites at MHCC. Which one are you going to choose if you get into both?!?

Hi! Yes same person 🙂 I'm not sure... I'm leaning MHCC just because of the SIGNIFICANT price difference. All in all between the ADN at MH and then the extra year at OHSU (to complete the BSN) is only roughly $31,000 - in comparison to $107k 

Did you also apply for Linfield? A school with rolling applications and one I know a few graduates from is Warner Pacific! The application is free too 🙂

Yes I applied to Linfield as well! Have you heard back from them yet? 
Also thank you for the info about Warner. I'll have to look more into them!

I haven't heard back yet, however I checked my application on the online portal and I think I got in... It is giving me the option to accept or decline my offer - but we haven't received the letters yet..

Hmm weird! Which online portal are you talking about? Also did you do your prerequisites at Linfield?

If you search "Linfield University application status" it should give you the link to login and check your application. Is there a way to IM on here? I can send you a screenshot. 

And no!! I did all of my schooling at MHCC.

Wait I found it! I clicked accept offer and now it's asking for a 400 dollar payment!

I'm assuming that means you got in!! Congratulations! I still haven't decided between MHCC and Linfield. I'm eager to see what the offer letter says before I accept anything. Did you show your offer letter?

I haven't gotten any email from them yet. The portal thing still says awaiting status. I wonder why no email has been sent out yet, it seems kinda late in the day LOL! I didn't get in anywhere else so Linfield is my only option, even though it's crazy expensive! I would've preferred MHCC too but oh well.

I'm assuming they wait until later in the day because they close at 5pm and don't want a huge rush of people calling.. I think they sent emails out at like 4:50pm last go around. EITHER WAY, I do think this is a good sign and that you got in! I sure hope so. 🙂

Thanks! Congrats to you as well! We will have to see what the offer letter says when it finally comes through. Maybe I'll see you in class if you choose Linfield!
