Hello to all. I am looking for information regarding RN licensure requirements for taking triage calls from multiple states. Is it necessary to have a license from every state? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks!

Just curious, do any of you who do telephone triage bill for your services? Or are you paid by a medical group?:rolleyes:

I work for a private agency, we do triage for health systems, insurance and doctors offices. Some accounts pay per call others pay a set monthly rate for the service. some of out doctor offices we provide just triage, others we are also their answering service. It all depends on how the contract was negotiated

I have to second the notion on CA. They are very strict on their requirements. I am told they are the hardest state to get a license from.
