Licensing and NCLEX Question

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I am going to be graduating in May and I want to know what everyone thinks about temporary licenses before taking the NCLEX. I can't decide whether I just want to get my NCLEX over with as soon as I'm cleared to take it, or if I should work on my temp license and then take my NCLEX when I get around to it. What do you all think?

I would take the NCLEX soon as you may forget some stuff from school. If on the off chance you do not pass, you will have so many days before you can take it again and your temporary may expire way before then. Give yourself some time but do it as soon as you feel ready. Good Luck.:)

i definitely agree that you should go on and take the NCLEX. i waited a little over one month - and that was enough time for me to forget some strategy and content. take as much time as you need to prepare but looking back i wish i had taken it sooner.

I need help i'm getting ready to take my boards soon and if anybody ncould give some heads up it would be great
