Hi

I am a Registered Nurse who passed NCLEX-RN from Vermont State Board. I applied for transfer to Georgia BON on Dec 2008 and application is still pending on Practise requirements.

My VIsa status is Green Card. Passed out BS Nursing from India on Dec 2004.

Can I know whether I need to take any reentry program or refresher program ??

Any experts pls help

Have you been in touch and asked them what the problem is? Endorsing a license I would have thought wouldn't be too hard as long as you meet requirements. Sometimes when foreign trained endorsing still means meeting foreign trained requirements so if you haven't got CES done and that is a requirement then nothing will happen until BON receives CES

Thanks for reply.

We called the Georgia BON, and they request us for the CES Report that has to come from the CGFNS. ?? Is that something all foreign nurses to complete ?

For purchasing the CES Service from CGFNS,

Can I know the right product to choose for the Georgia BON ???

Credentials Evaluation Service (CES): Full Education Course-By-Course Report $378.00 • Credentials Evaluation Service (CES): Healthcare Profession & Science Report

If the state requires it then yes foreign nurses who trained outside of the US have to get it done. I would recommend you get the full course by course report. Takes on average 4 months when trained outside the US for the report to be issued and you will need to arrange for your transcripts to be sent to CGFNS
