Dear Nurse Beth,

I want to take NCLEX exam but i have a history of terminated practicing license in another country, specifically in singapore. Will i still have a chance to be approved to take the NCLEX RN exam?

Dear Terminated License,

The way to find out is to apply for licensure via NCLEX exam in your state. If you were trained overseas, they will need to evaluate and validate your clinicals and classwork.

Somewhere in the process, you may be asked if you ever had discipline against your license. Consider consulting with a nurse attorney in your state.
