First time license renewal. My license expires in less than 3 weeks. Texas board of nurses just changed their website I cannot figure out how to submit my application for renewal. Calling them doesn't work and their office is closed due to COVID . Can someone who's done it through their new postal walk me through the process please?

Where are you getting stuck, exactly? I looked at it briefly and the first step appears to be creating an account. I don't live in Texas anymore, so I stopped there. It does say their office opens at 8AM on Monday if you need to call.
Renewals are typically fast, so try not to panic too much.

I created an account but it doesn't give me the option to apply for renewal and I can't get through to them over the phone.

During these COVID times with most staff working from home, I've found great success using EMAIL to contact licensing bureau's.
Did you see Video: "How to Create a Nurse Portal Account WITH an Existing Nursing License" in order to renew or update your license. Cell phone browsers are not supported. Browers need to be Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google, Chrome.

I have been trying to renew my license since the first of August. I have followed the instructions to generate an account to the new nursing portal for the Texas board, but when I get on there is nowhere to click to renew! Feeling aggravated! Arrrh
