U.S.A. Florida

I just passed by NCLEX-RN exam licensed in California, I was wondering on how soon can I apply for the License by Endorsement in Florida? I kinda didn't get what was said in their site, and was wondering if anybody could help me? Thank you.

Go to http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/nursing/nur_faq.html#Endorsement , and click License by Endorsement for the frequently asked questions,

I am not sure but it seems that you do need to have practiced nursing for 2 out of the last 3 years in order to be endorsed by Florida. Hope it helps, I am in the process of endorsing my RN license in Fl as well.

I took my boards in Wisconsin, and as soon as I found out I passed I started the process to get my FL license. Within a month or 2 I had it.

I think you can apply for an endorsement right away. Just email the state board & ask. I don't see why it would matter

Hi guys, thank you for your replies. :)

I actually am in the process of transferring my licenses from California to Florida as well. I applied for it in April 6th and I am still under review, but there wasn't any stipulation on how long I to wait to transfer it over.

it took a couple weeks to get my endorsement. Plus it depends on how busy that the board is. You can always call the state board to check on your endorsement app!
