Licencure validity period?

Published

Hi, I am Katia and I have been looking for information on NCLEX on various sites, however I didn't find anything about these 2 issues:

1. I was thinking on doing the NCLEX but I am not sure yet when I am going to relocate to US. So my question is: can I write the exam now and still stay and work in Canada or I have to start working in US in order to maintain my licence validity.

If you have any information please share it with me.

Thanks,

Katia.

Yes, you can stay in Canada and work. Licenses are usually renewed in most states every two years, some such as Arizona are now every dour years. Your license will remain valid as long as you keep it current.

Susan, thank you very much, I couldn't find this info anywhere!
