I applied last week in an agency for Libya.

I expected that they will give me at least 80k pesos for my salary.

But the lady showed me the papers that their salary limit is only 900LD.

The lady really encouraged me to apply because I already have 3 years experience and working in a 300-bed capacity hospital but I opted not to pursue my application.

I'd rather wait for Oman or Qatar who has higher salary offer and safer destination for us nurses.

Hi i wanna ask how's the internet connextion and roaming services in benghazi? Are those services available there? The thing is i've been waiting for my bf to txt or try to reach me even thru the internet.. But to no avail... Pls help me.. As far as i know he was assigned at Jamahiriya Hospital.. Ty

With your experience, I'd really suggest you to apply for Hamad Medical Corporation here in Qatar. They do offer very good salaries(tax-free) and benefits (housing, transpo, air ticket, etc). Good luck! :)

hi i just got intrvwd the other week for BMC..now i passed the whole shindig...i was wondering, how is the internet connection in benghazi?do they have wifi spots to? :confused:

They have wimax there. No need to worry as you can buy one. There are also internet shops.

how about when we leave PI, will they allow us to bring thumb drives?im thinking of scanning my papers and keeping them in my thumb drive for emergency purposes or so..or i should jst store them in my email add?what do you think?:)

You can bring your thumb drive with you and at the same time, you can store it in your email add. :)

hi im also in Libya moh 2012 and we are selected last march. until now i am waiting for a confirmation of our ticket. we kept on updating the agency filsino but we havent heard anynews from them. fed up of waiting thats why i am now in this topic.

question....any tentative date of deployment for us? is this normal to wait for 4 months?

due to current situation in Libya today, I would say yes. There are other 2011 batches still waiting to be deployed. But once they start, it will be a continuous process until all of you are deployed. We've waited three months and that was in 2009.

thank you for answering my query. our agency said that they are deploying all the old applicant including the recall last May and june. we ask their updates but they told us that they are scheduling our flight and for ticketing stage na.

are we going to bring our own uniform and if we need to provide it...is there any design for our uniform (male). kinda anxious because i just have an e.r uniform in my hand (uniform from saudi).. thank you vewry much...i am so tired of waiting...
