Im pretty new here, but was wondering if anyone would like to throw around facts, tips, pneumonics, etc to help us all pass our test. I take my test July 15th, and like everyone else, I could use all the help I can get:hug: Anyone is welcome, especially if you have taken the test before and have any input. I just think it could be very helpful learning from one another. You never know, we may learn something new, or be reminded of something we forgot I will start by putting down a few things myself.
-Except for any kind of tube or drain, the general rule of thumb is to check the pt first and then the equipment.
-You want manic pts to do activities with others
-t-PA is contraindicated in situations where there was trauma. CPR can be considered trauma
-First clinical manifestation of dig toxicity is GI upset
-Under the age of 12 give Tylenol
-"why" answers on NCLEX are usually considered wrong because they are considered confrontational
There ya have it guys! Cant wait to see everyone else's input. I will also add some more later as the thread goes on. Now back to the books!!
