Leik similarity to the AANP exam? Cramming tips?

Published

I'm taking the AANP exam this Thursday (yes... like less than 48 hours away). I feel very anxious, I've been working full time and not studying as much as I think I should.

How similar are the Leik questions to the actual AANP exam? I'm consistently scoring about 80% on those. (the ones located in the back of the 2nd edition FNP certification intensive review book).

Tomorrow is my last day to study. Any recommendations on what to cram the day before the exam? I've went through the Leik book cover - to - cover. I also have access to Fitzgerald - her online course and both of her NP certification exam review books., but she's not really to the point. Thoughts?

Thank you!

Good luck today! Let us know how it goes!

I passed! It was hard but fair. The excess studying this past few weeks helped on about half of the questions. The other half were things I had learned over the past 9 years. Hard to cram for a test like this!

Leik was a great review - better for "cramming"

I also paid for and took the AANP practice exam Wednesday and scored 86% on that. I recommend taking that. I have to admit the real exam was harder!

Fitzgerald- I had bought her online review course 2 years ago and that helped with class, I went to her live review last summer which was a good refresher. I would do it the same way if I were to do it over again.
