Lehman's Fall 2014 Nursing Program

Heyyy,

I didn't see a thread here about the lehman program for fall 2014, so, I decided to make one :).

How are you guys/gals feeling about having applied to the program!?

Do you guys mind sharing some stats?

Here's mine:

Science GPA: 3.97

Overall GPA: 3.85

Hesi: 92

I think we SHOULD be hearing back before Jun 17th. however, im not too sure.

hey guys! just wanna share some stats so far;

Science GPA at 3.67 (in the process of taking org chem and micro this semester)

CUM GPA 3.59

Hesi score: 90 Critical Thinking: 910

Any opinions?

You have some good stats. If you're able to maintain your gpa (or do better) you'll undoubtedly get in. Best of luck

Hey,

Im also applying for generic program this 2015, my cum gpa is 3.6, my science gpa is 3.74 and if i get an A on microbio this spring it will go up to 3.8. and my hesi is 88. Do they focus more on the science gpa or the cum gpa? i feel like a cum gpa of 3.6 is not high enough to guarantee my acceptance to the program. Im really scared as june is coming!! i really hope i get in.

Hey Jen!

Sorry for the late reply. Finals week has kept me reallyyy busy. To answer your question, no. They tend to focus more on the science gpa than the overall one. A 3.6 cum gpa with a 3.7-3.8 science gpa is completely fine. Best of luck!

Just wondering if anyone had asked the office if they started to review the applications. The deadline was back in March... It seems awfully late to send out decision letters mid June... My employers want to know whether I will be staying(if rejected) or quite very soon...

I received my acceptance letter last year on June 19th. It may take a few more weeks to hear back from them.
