This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!

Does anyone know when they will stop sending acceptances? I am still waiting.

Maybe that’s an old form? That won’t be possible for me considering that I was just accepted yesterday. I’m sure it’ll be the same for others

If I’m not mistaken on the acceptance letter it states we must wait for the orientation packet to get information in regards to the health clearance form and background/drug test check. There is no way those who were accepted recently to obtain those documents on time.

I collected the info from the nurse Lehman 2018

for CPR

Call 516-780-7016 to schedule an appt. the address is 981 Morris Park Ave Bronx NY10462. They also may have other locations if you are not in the Bronx.

Same here! I did mine through Heartstart Training - CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and More

For background check

Background check and drug test is one package so it should be done together at Castle branch. Go to the castle branch Website. put the code (Lehmann code is uv 33 just ). the code is correct I checked. It gives you further process. then print it and go to a drug test.

For health clearance

Go to your primary Dr

my primary Dr asks me the fee 50 dollars. If you do not have insurance I m not sure how much

HOWEVER, I suggest you to wait to get the pocket.

we are a different situation this year.

when I see other school health clearance, there is COVID test was added.

You already got the background check/drug test, CPR, and health assessment? Also do you think I can go to my local citymd or something to do the physical assessment?

I suggest you to wait to get the pocket.

I did not do it. I got the info from my friend who is in the program and some I collected from the previous all nurse Lehman.

But I emailed Lehman clearance form to my primary doctor to make sure she can do it. confirm the cost.

and I also get on the castle branch and try to figure it out.

also, I tried on the American heart association web to check what thy have for CPR . they have blending bls in which 1-2 online + hand-on skill- this one you have to go there) I checked the schedule.

but I did not do it yet because I have to see the pocket.

from last year's forum, someone did local city MD. but you better make sure.

Hello All, CONGRATS to all who've been accepted so far. I just got an email regarding the dosage calculation review set for Monday 6th of July (1pm - 4pm). I don't know if this applies to only accelerated or both accelerated or traditional students. Check your Lehman email to verify.
