DG 82,

Thanks for your quick reply and words of reassurance!

Kil park,

Regarding HIN 269, try checking CUNY first today to see if there are any openings. I received a general email last week from Lehman saying that there were openings in courses resulting from students dropping courses for which they could not pay. If there is an opening, you’ll need permission from an advisor in the nursing department. Remember, advisers are there on certain days so call the department first. Good luck. Your stats look great!

Thanks so much both and Happy New Year.

I am waiting my Korean school transcription. I will apply as soon as i get it.

thx

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application today. Not a long wait at the office. Good luck to all!

Hi, this is kilyoung. Which program did u apply ? I apply it soon al(Generic)and i m watingfor my transcription from my country. How did u get general education requirement form?

I was confused with #6 on the application. I m going to send my transcription to the nirsing department. But will attatch with my appointment. So should say Yes or not?

Thx.

I am applying to the accelerated program.

I've been a Lehman student since last year so I did not need to get the general education form. I assume that you would be able to pick it up from Shuster Hall

#6 refers to a "copy receipt" that you would obtain from the schools providing the transcripts. It would consist of proof that you asked the school for official. transcripts. If you are handing in your application and you already have official transcripts, then put "no." I would call the nursing department just to make sure.

Thanks so much Rasaan Ogilvie. Good luck.

My one of friends is taking that class. She told me it is hell. my other two friends could not get that spots and studying in Generic. They said me "Not bad"

My friend who graduated accelerated program told me she cried everyday and she had to pork her flash with needle in order to not getting sleep.

So before getting the hell, Have a good rest and good luck.

To Rassan Ogilvie

One more question about #1.

Hello current Lehman BSN/ABSN folks!

I am applying to the 2020 ABSN cohort and am now wondering how much I should take out in loans to cover both tuition and any additional related items (scrubs, fees for background checks, etc). Do you have a ballpark estimate based on your own experience of the amount I should take out to cover all costs associated with the program? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Rasaan

I am happy you are applying to Lehman and wish you the best of luck. As far as the loan make sure you apply right after you get accepted. You will not find out acceptance till mid June when the emails begin to start going out. The last email usually goes out the first two weeks of August because of those who end up deferring. But you will need approximately $140 for Castle Branch, which is the background check and drug test. $11-$20 for the name tag which u order in book store at Lehman. That takes up to 3 weeks to get it. Then you have to order the blue shirt directly through dove apparel for $47 plus tax. You can buy the white pants anywhere, ranges from $25 and up. And you would need to buy white leather shoes. I brought it from nursemate.com and prices are from $60 and up. CPR training if you don't have it, that's another $35-45. And the equipment, they have bundles through a certain site called Standris ranging from $68 and up. I specifically ordered through amazon and spent about $90 with one of the best stethoscope and other stuff. That’s pretty much it. But everything is mention in the orientation full entrance package once accepted. Again best of luck. If you decided to buy books it will come out extremely expensive, PDFs are available which you can ask for the closer you get to the semester or can rent through amazon if your a person that has the need for an actual book.
