Leadership Responsibilities of an LPN

Hi, I have a placement assignment where i'm supposed to describe the responsibilities of the LPN nurse in LTC. If anyone could just give me a few points that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

LPNs in LTC are the charge nurses. They have a great deal of responsiblity. The have to make patient assignments to the aides, see that the patients are care for. They have to pass medications and perform treatments on their patients. That's just a big overall basic. There is so much more. Try reading some of the posts in the Long Term Care Forum to get an idea of what these nurses have to do.
