I can't imagine taking this as an 8 week course. I took it online last semester (Fall 2012) and the sheer volume of reading, quizzes, med math & tests was tremendous. Trying to compact that into 8 weeks would be VERY difficult to get an A. It's a LOT of information.

Plus you have to pass all your Med Math quizzes with a 90% or better or you fail the entire course. Your first 2 math quizzes are only 25 questions, so you can only miss 2 questions and pass. If you pass the 3rd quiz with a 90% (50 questions), you are done with Med Math for the semester. If you don't, you're required to go to remediation and then one more attempt. If you don't get a 90% or better on the 4th attempt, you get a zero for the entire course (even if you are passing the Pharm portion). They also do NOT round up. So, if you have an 89.9%, they don't round up to 90%.

I would suggest taking it in the Fall when you can devote a full 16 weeks to it. Even then, it's a LOT of work! I took 17 credits last semester (6 classes) and Pharmacology ate up almost all of my study time.

If you do take it online, -----------------is a great instructor. I would also highly recommend attending the SI sessions once a week. If it wasn't for ---------, I would not have been able to pull off the A. They don't offer SI in the summer, so yet another reason to wait until Fall.

Good luck to you! :D
