Published

Hello! i just got into the los angeles trade tech nursing program for fall 2014 but i dont know much about the program since there isn't much online. Has anyone been accepted? or if anyone has any info on the program? i'm really curious and am considering going here.

Hello leslieg92,

i also got accepted to lattc fall. Did you turn in everything already? I'm excited and nervous to start the program.

Are you guys doing lvn to rn?

Are you guys doing lvn to rn?
no, I'm doing the regular RN program.

Hi Everyone! I've turned everything in for Fall 2014 and I am currently waiting for the next steps in July. Has anyone heard anything about the nursing kit yet?

hello DCC412, didn't they say that they were going to email us? But when though? I have so many questions, but I don't want to bother them. Idk if I should call and ask them.

Sorry for the late reply! I haven't checked the thread until today. We just got emailed information about the kit today (June, 17th). I wonder what comes inside of it. See you all soon!

Also, if you have questions for them I found I always get answered before lunch or around 1:30. You have to call the allied health department rather than trying to connect directly to one of the staff. They never answer or call back.

Hi!

I applied for Spring 2015 because they said Fall 2014 is super full. Actually they even told me Spring is full and I'm suppose to get into Fall 2015.

Do you think there's a huge chance I'll get into Spring 2015 if I applied and took the teas July 2014?

How was your acceptance letter? Via email? Or mail?

Please help anybody!

Hi!

I'm currently enrolled in Fall 2014 at LATTC. I would say apply ASAP to try to get in as soon as possible espeically since it's first come first serve. There's about 35 of us (normal RN Program) in the beginning.

I would say assume you'll get into Fall 2015 and if you get lucky, you could get a seat in Spring if people drop before classes start. Also, the acceptance letter is received by mail and you have about 2 weeks to get all your titers/vaccines done.

Okay thank you for your reply! I will be eagerly checking my mail box.

Hey everyone! I applied in January of 2014 right after I took my teas and had my final grades for all my classes and I had a 3.0 for nursing science prereqs and met with a counselor and she said I had a high chance. I got accepted into the fall 2014 via mail. Right now I'm in my first week. So far so good. So I'd say apply as soon as you have all your grades in from the prereqs and teas score.

How do you like the professor and work load? Is it overwhelming?
