Lastest News For Hcc Adn Program

Published

Hi everyone, there has been a new system update for hcc adn program. Before one can get into the program. one has to take the Hesi test. A friend told me about this because her husband works at hcc, but i wanted to be sure so i called the adn department myself, and I was told that as long as you have not been accepted into the program you have to take the test. This information has not been posted yet, because it was effective last week friday, the 21st. I even asked them that what if you already have a degree, but they said everyone will have to take it. Thought i should give you all a head start.:nono:

thanks for the update. would this replace the act requirement?

Yes, the HESI will replace the ACT/SAT requirements per an administator of the program.

Hey guys and gals...(its my first posts, been visiting for awhile, I finally join)

Where do you register for the HESI entrance exam? I've looked on the HCC website and I guess its so right in front of my face that I'm completely missing it. :uhoh3:

I think it kind-of sucks they are making everyone take this test. Especially for those that have some type of higher education Associates or Bachelors. And/or taken the SAT and ACT and scored decent or well on the tests.
