Hey guys!! Just wanting some feedback on how you celebrate a pt's last chemo treatment. Our radiation oncology group has them ring a bell and gives them a "graduation" certificate. I just don't think that will work for our patients as some of them start maintenance regimens or progress. Let me know how you celebrate!!!
In our children's hospital they get a toy from donations we collect year round. Perhaps some type of symbolic gift like a motivational plaque? Coffee mug? Maybe a local quilters' or sewing group might make something appropriate?
In "Happy birthday " We sing. Congratulations to you, congratulations to you, congratulations dear _______, your chemo is through. Plus a certificate we all sign
