Published

Hello

I applied for 2015 fall semester in LASC and LAVC and waiting for the response. Please current southwest and valley college students share your insites about the program .Are there any other students waiting for this program??😳

Hello,

I also applied for LASC Fall 2015..Anxiously awaiting for any news. Have you taken the teas or are you doing so this week?

Hi May 4

I took teas back in March in san diago .I just need to send it through the ati website right ?

Yes, and its sent electronically so they receive it the same day :)

They sent email saying z teas should be taking in LACCD .Is that true ? I am so scared that they are not going to take it cause I took it in sandiago .Did u take it ?? If so where??

What! That wouldnt make sense. It would be logical that once its done, then its done as long as its through ATI. You should call and confirm though.

I took it at County college and they made it valid..

I attend LASC I took the teas around this time 2 years ago and was accepted shortly thereafter.

One is close to LAX and the other is in the arid, San Fernando Valley. It's going to be 2 totally different experiences.

But, if your goal is to become an RN, who has paid under $2500 for their schooling - it doesn't matter which one you attend.

All the best no matter which school you choose!

Thank you anie 10 ,I think you attended south west college .How was z clinicals and the teachers in z program .I took most of my perquisite in that school and hoping they will take me in to the program .

You are welcome, Ldamena.

The instructors are great, as they are knowledgeable and supportive, some more than others _ but it is "daytime school", so if you need to work, you better hope you can get hired somewhere at night or on the weekends or be independently wealthy. Clinicals are fine - you work for free with no guarantee of being hired - although most of the clinical sites are great: especially California Hospital and either of the Kaisers (sunset/west la). Those hospitals give you a great hands-on experience.

My perspective is alot different from most in that I am "over" working for free. I need benefits and a steady paycheck - so i am MORE THAN READY TO GRADUATE. lol

Feel free to pm me for specifics!

I got notified of my acceptance to LASC today. I am beyond excited!

@Anie10- What is the schedule like? What days do you have lectures and clinicals?
