LaSalle Achieve Program Fall 2017

Published

Hello everyone,

I hope all are well. I wanted to see if anyone has applied to LaSalle's Fall 2017 Achieve Program at the Main Campus in Philadelphia?

I have taken all the prerequisites and have also taken the NLN exam with an overall score of 140 ( 85% Verbal, 86 % Math, 91% Science) The study guide was really helpful. I have a science GPA of 4.0 and overall GPA 3.5. I received a favorable admission letter in August 2016 since I completed my application and all supplemental information. I think if I am not mistaken, it appears that LaSalle does not even review the application until March 1 regardless if you have all the materials or not. The next step appears to be application review/interview. I think if I understood correctly from the admissions counselor, if you already have a Bachelor's degree you are waived from several of the courses that are required for the liberal arts curriculum, such as the second requirements of religion and philosophy at the 200 level, world history, and communications courses.

Is there anyone else who has applied/interested in applying? Can anyone who is in the program shed some light on the program and let me know if you think I have a chance. Additionally, can anyone let me know if LaSalle reviews applications earlier than the deadline since I completed everything in August 2016?

Best of luck to all that are applying. This program looks awesome and I really hope to start it, as I will be working full time!

I have to say that the communication has been relatively slow. I do know that the castle branch stuff has to be done as soon as possible. How did you get your financial aid info already? They keep telling me that they aren't doing that till July! Hopefully more j do will come soon.

It was the email (that I guess was an automatic email) stating I needed to fill out a financial form on the website. I agree about the communication... I will look into the Castle Branch process today. Did you say you are registered for classes? I have not seen anything about that yet...

Yes, I am registered for classes already. But the financial aid has not been completed. Everything was received, but not completed.

I highly recommend doing CastleBrach immediately. You have to set up an account with them. It also costs $140 to do that. They do payment plans and you can put down half of it with an additional two monthly payments. The code is LP-07 in order to start a package on CastleBranch.

If you look at your registration status on MyLasalle, mine were registered for me on June 5th.

Hello everyone.

I am registered as well for FALL. I received my financial aid and everything. But, I'm still working on the castle branch information, its allot of stuff.

I just wonder when is the deadline for the castle branch stuff?

It definitely is a lot of stuff. I just have a couple more things to go. Were you already a student at Lasalle? They told me since I have never been a student bay they are doing the financial aid packages early July. I guess they just switched to castlebranch recently. You have to request the physical form from the clinical compliance officer at Lasalle, because it's not included on the castle branch portal. Best of luck. See y'all soon! It's literally right around the corner

No I'm not originally a la salle student.

I am coming from a community college but, I am taking my last pre-req (the 200 level religion) class this summer at Lasalle, maybe that's why I have my financial aid already.

Thanks for telling me that I did not know that.

Yes!!! I can't wait

Anything from financial aid? The money stuff always has me anxious. And it's 46 days away! Are we all together in Monday and Wednesday classes?

Hey!

I did get my financial aid package, but it wasn't much since I already have a Bachelor's degree- Good thing they have a payment plan!

I am enrolled in Monday and Wednesday night classes.

It is literally right around the corner. I finally finished everything for Castle Branch and got my uniform stuff, just working on buying textbook stuff now.

See y'all soon!

I am going to apply for spring 2018 La salle achieve program.... can anyone who went to La salle tell me about the achieve nursing program? Is it a good program??

Yes, I have Monday and Wed. nights as well.

Financial aid package is finally complete. Now I'm just working on my 2nd PPD. This is the last thing and I'm done with the compliance stuff :)

Did you guys get your IDs yet?
