Hey Chrissieg,
I'm also anxiously awaiting. I have heard back from two other schools already and am really over the waiting. I've had everything completed since August. I heard something about receiving an email for the interview in Mid March, but who knows at this point? Hopefully we don't have to wait until April or May to find out.
Yes indeed. LaSalle is my first choice though. Hopefully some news will come soon. I think that if you have everything completed (the prerequisites, the background checks, and the NLN Scores) before the interview, that should mean a sooner response. But you are right. Based on the previous posts, people weren't finding out until April/May.
Hey Chrissieg,
Everything went okay today! It was a discussion about what area of nursing that you want to be in and why nursing/ what you currently are doing. It is nothing to be worried about. It lasted only 30 minutes and you will receive an official admissions letter end of March/ first week of April via mail. She also discussed the next requirements like clinical compliance stuff and FBI fingerprinting/ immunizations. I'm really excited about it and think you will be surprised!

Hello everyone,
I hope all are well. I wanted to see if anyone has applied to LaSalle's Fall 2017 Achieve Program at the Main Campus in Philadelphia?
I have taken all the prerequisites and have also taken the NLN exam with an overall score of 140 ( 85% Verbal, 86 % Math, 91% Science) The study guide was really helpful. I have a science GPA of 4.0 and overall GPA 3.5. I received a favorable admission letter in August 2016 since I completed my application and all supplemental information. I think if I am not mistaken, it appears that LaSalle does not even review the application until March 1 regardless if you have all the materials or not. The next step appears to be application review/interview. I think if I understood correctly from the admissions counselor, if you already have a Bachelor's degree you are waived from several of the courses that are required for the liberal arts curriculum, such as the second requirements of religion and philosophy at the 200 level, world history, and communications courses.
Is there anyone else who has applied/interested in applying? Can anyone who is in the program shed some light on the program and let me know if you think I have a chance. Additionally, can anyone let me know if LaSalle reviews applications earlier than the deadline since I completed everything in August 2016?
Best of luck to all that are applying. This program looks awesome and I really hope to start it, as I will be working full time!
