anyone know who's hiring new grad cnas but starts at $12+ ? :nailbiting: been certified for almost a month now still looking for work..

I think that there are some jobs that start at $12. But there are many many more CNA jobs that do not start at $12 either. More like $9-$10 is average to start. $12 to be honest for CNA work is more like top rate for some places. Some hospitals maybe give their CNAs $14-$15 for top rate but that is about the highest I have ever seen any CNA make, and I am not even sure that would be every hospitals. I think your best bet to get that much or at least close to that is getting a 3rd shift job because they have the biggest shift differencial and it may be possible to get that much. But no guarantees.

Really I have to say that if you are so stuck that you HAVE to make $12 to start you are limiting your options to getting a job, and it does not surprise me you are still looking. The only thing I can say is just keep looking but to get your foot in the door somewhere you might have to settle for less.

If you're stressing over finding a job I recommend what I did to secure my first:

Walk straight into a facility, ask to speak with the hiring manager and ask for an interview. Being direct gets you places.
