Laptop for CRNA school?

I am trying to decide whether I should purchase a laptop for CRNA school? Do you guys use them frequently enough to warrent the expense? With two young kids at home I will be spending a lot of my study time at the library, is having a laptop almost a necessity? Are there a lot of papers or mostly exams in CRNA school? I have been shopping for a while and really would like to have one, I just want to make sure it will be worth the $$$.

I'm not a SRNA....but I say if you can afford it, get one! I got an Apple Powerbook G4 about 7 months ago. I don't know how I ever functioned with a desktop. Mine is super light and I can take it anywhere I need to go. I'm not tied down to the computer desk anymore!!
