Hi everyone,
I have started my application for Lanier Tech (Forsyth Campus) for spring 2018 LPN program. My overall GPA is a 3.7, but with their specific pre-reqs it is a 3.2. I plan on taking the TEAS next month in July, and getting the best score I possibly can. Is this a realistic goal to getting into the program? I should also note that I also work full-time in a major Georgia hospital to add to my resume.
Thanks in advance!
Hello all, I just applied for fall 2018. I'm currently in the diet and nutrition class so I'm not sure exactly what my gpa is for the application. All my other core classes are A's and B's though. I also have an associates degree in pre-nursing from UNG, and Ms. Adam told me that would help as well. I took the TEAS and made an 82 overall so my fingers are crossed about getting in. The other thing I'm lacking is the cpr/first aid which I'm signed up for in March.
I am at the Forsyth location and we have a different director here that writes our schedule but they do follow the mock schedule on the website at least the classes. My first semester is spring and so far it's exciting and a lot of work. I am an A student but Medical Surgical is a little more difficult for me. This semester we are taking 4 classes. Pharmacology, Fundamentals, Clinical at nursing home (9 Monday's), Medical Surgical 1 (Cardiac, Respiratory, Hematological/Immunological) we only have 3 test in Med Surg and a final so you really have to get good grades in order to maintain or exceed the required "C" at the end of the semester. Summer semester we have only 8 weeks and the classes we are taking are Med Surg 2 and Med Surg 3 and Clinical at the hospital for 2 days 12 hour shifts.

Hi there! Congrats on your acceptance! If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA/TEAS score?
Thank you in advance!
