Lanier Tech Spring 2018

Published

Hi everyone,

I have started my application for Lanier Tech (Forsyth Campus) for spring 2018 LPN program. My overall GPA is a 3.7, but with their specific pre-reqs it is a 3.2. I plan on taking the TEAS next month in July, and getting the best score I possibly can. Is this a realistic goal to getting into the program? I should also note that I also work full-time in a major Georgia hospital to add to my resume.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I applied to LVN program(Oakwood campus) for Spring 2018 that starts in January. I recently graduated with an Associates Science degree in Health Science with an overall GPA of 3.5. I took the TEAS last year and got around 70's. I plan on retaking it in a couple of weeks to improve my score. I am currently from California but I will be in Gwinnett County this end of Sept. I emailed the co-director of LVN program, Susan, and told me she's going to review our application after the due date which is on Sept 29, and that it will take a month for the admission decision. For those who applied, what are your GPA's and TEAS scores?

I also applied and have a degree in Healthcare. I hope I get in.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA/test score? Best of luck to you!!

Best of Luck to you also. I asked the advisor what was my gpa but no word yet. My TEAS is only 64.7. Praying for a spot, seriously.

I was informed by Ms. Gail at the Oakwood campus that the Forsyth campus would be starting in Spring 2018 and the Oakwood campus would be starting in summer 2018. I was a little disappointed because travel time to Oakwood would be feasible and Forsyth not as much seeing as I have a 5 year old at home to care for as a single parent. Has anyone heard any different news? Pertaining to this or otherwise as far as the 2018 programs go?

Yes that's correct. I know they start sending out acceptance letters the 29th of this month!!! Best of luck to you

I received my acceptance letter for PN at Forsyth location last week. I can't wait until the spring. My Teas score was not what I wanted it to be but I guess it was good enough. Anyone else get into the Spring 2018 program yet?

Nope, trying somewhere else........

Sorry to hear that. My sister got into at North Ga Technical College for PN. Maybe you can try there. Its too far for me to drive and they take the Hesi not the Teas

I will be trying Oconee Fall Line.....Keeping hope alive. Thanks, for North Ga suggestion.
