Langara College Nursing | Fall 2023 Intake

Hey everyone! I've applied for Langara's fall 2023 intake now that I just finished my last prereq this past fall semester and am wondering if anyone else has applied? If you're willing to share, what GPA are you applying with and how many retakes do you have, if any? Thanks and good luck!! ?

Just wanna preface: I'm curious about who's applied so I can gauge what my chances might be of getting in since I'm feeling pretty anxious about acceptance - haha. And besides, I'm sure there are lots of others who would like to know about their chances too!

For reference, I'm applying with a 3.73 GPA and 2 retakes!

I applied with a 3.866 GPA with no retakes. However I’m sure your chances of getting in are high because I heard last intake someone with a 3.6 GPA was able to make it. Take into consideration that many people might decline acceptance because they may have gotten accepted elsewhere.

Hi! I applied with a 4.066 GPA and one retake, but I had a friend who got in the last intake with a 3.6 GPA so I think all of our chances of getting in are pretty high!

B+ = 3.33 A- = 3.67 A = 4.00 A+ = 4.33 

Your GPA would be (4.00+3.67+3.67+3.67+3.33)/5= 3.668

You don't send your transcripts, when you apply they will find your transcript on their own. (I'm pretty sure because I didn't send my transcript and I got a confirmation email for the application!)
