Anyone else out there apply to LCC's 2017 RN program?
I applied with 54.94 points. I had two B's in Writing 121 and 122 and they were only 3 credits each (I took them a long time ago!) so unfortunately that hit my GPA a little. If I do not get in I will retake them.
If anyone else applied maybe we could share how many points and when and if we hear back!
I am applying to Lane for the first time this year and I have 54 points. I am nervous that it is not enough to qualify for an interview! I have full points for grades, but I missed out on most of the discretionary points because I am not a CNA or a resident of Lane County (Benton, so close!). I've also applied to OHSU-Monmouth and Chemeketa. I am curious if anyone knows the general point totals of those invited for interviews last year. I believe I saw in an early post that someone got an interview with 54.45 or something like that so hopefully I've got a shot!
@mlandis63 the cut off last year was 51 and some odd points! You should definitely get an interview if this year is similar to last year :)
Thank you so much for the info! That makes me feel a lot better! I think we've applied to all the same schools, I've seen your posts on the other forums too! :) Have you taken your Kaplan test yet?
No problem! I take my Kaplan next friday the 6th. What about you? I can't wait for lane to send out emails! It seems they are always the last ones who let us know haha.

I took the Kaplan last year and got an 85% (46/50 application points) and I have full points for the grades after retaking two classes so I chose to not retake the Kaplan test just in case I did not do better. Plus from earlier posts, sounds like I have a really good chance going in with an 85%. Looks like on the Chemeketa forum that several people got really good scores! I hope yours goes well! Good luck! @mattsch311, sorry, I should have specified that it was for Chemeketa! I don't want to freak Lane applicants out and make them think they missed something!

I am planning to apply January 2019. Thank you for the advice. I hope you get into the program. Nice to hear that they don't have an essay portion. How many questions they normally ask?
Thanks
