Published

Hello I'm starting a post for those who are applying to the Lamar University nursing program in Beaumont, Tx for the Spring of 2019.

I am also waiting... This sucks...

I got my letter on Wednesday

Your acceptance letter or packet? I have a friend who was offered early acceptance who received his information packet on Wednesday, but he received his actual "acceptance" letter in October.

I got my packet for the alternative list :/

I haven't received anything yet.... I've been checking the mail everyday and no mail...

I'm so sorry Hardin89. Was this your first time applying?

No worries. I am not doing too good in patho. So either way I wouldn't be able to accept. I slacked off a lot in beginning.

Yes it was my first time applying.

I also heard they look at your HESI to consider you and I failed the chemistry part. But I will be retaking HESI and reapply.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that... now I'm realky scared because we have similar hesi scores but my GPA is a bit lower than yours so most likely I didn't get accepted :/

Still impatiently waiting here. Anyone else received their letter yet? I called the SON and was told letters went out Nov. 20th í ¾í´”

I'm still waiting too :(

I got my letter today. Was place on alternative as well :/ does anyone know how if a lot of people get called or is it a rarely thing?

So sorry Jasledesma! I have no idea how many actually get called up from the alternate list?
