Lamar Spring 2019 BSN Program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello I'm starting a post for those who are applying to the Lamar University nursing program in Beaumont, Tx for the Spring of 2019.

No. I have 3 young boys so I have a lot to consider. I checked out every school in the Houston area and Lamar's class schedule and the fact that the drive and traffic aren't too bad made up my mind.

Are you taking classes at Lamar now or another school?

How did the HESI go?

I've already taken all classes except Patho and theories. I did good on HeSI for the most part. Chemistry killed me :/. I didn't study like I needed to for that section. Hopefully they don't base it all off that. I made a 100 on A&p part amd 90 on reading 84s on vocabulary, grammar and math.

now the waiting game.....

That's great!! The chemistry was my worst subject too. The only questions I knew in that section were from what we learned in a&p. It sounds like you did great on the other sections though!! You should read the posts from the people who are starting the program next week. They have all their stats and most of them got accepted. It made me feel a little more optimistic about my chances.

Yeah that's what made me want to make this post to see if anyone would reply. They had several People reply. What days are you taking Patho and theories?

I wonder when early acceptance letters will be sent out. Lol I know we just turned them in.

I'm doing theories online and patho on Wednesdays. I know they all got early acceptance and I'm so anxious.

Same here I'm doing Patho Wednesday 12:40-2:30.

Hello, I'm also applying for spring 2019. I am taking both patho and theories this semester. Have y'all heard anything about people who got accepted last semester?

There is another thread that they talked about their stats and they talked about who all got accepted. Have you seen it??

Yes I think I saw it. Thanks
