Hi,

I was accepted to Lakeview College of Nursing - Danville campus and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on it? I am also accepted for my local community college (MCC), but the idea of getting my BSN in the same amount of time really appeals to me as I am hoping to get my masters. Don't know if I will be accepted anywhere else (applied at several schools - all over).

hi Amy. Saw ur post and ma wondering what you thought of lakeview college? What is their admission criteria like? I am applying for fall 2011 for accelerated BSN and want to be an ICU nurse. Would you happen to know if it is difficult to find a job after studying there. I've read it in a few posts and that worries me. I'd appreciate any and all help. MCC - Muscatine? I ma taking courses at Scott Community in Bettendorf. Thank you in advance!

Did anyone ever get back with you? I'm a May graduate and I can answer questions or point you in the right direction to someone that can.

Hello there, I see that you're from CA. I got accepted to Danville campus this coming fall. DId you finish the program? How did you like it? Dislikes? Please give me some insights of what to bring, what not to bring? get a roommate? anything advice would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks!

I was at the EIU campus. No roommates other than my family as I am a "townie". I don't know if anyone can say that they liked nursing school. It is one of the most difficult things I've willingly done. That being said I felt that Lakeview gave me a good foundation for my nursing career and I am glad that I chose their program.

As far as studying tips I would say to find out your strengths and weaknesses early on. A lot of my classmates were in study groups, serious study groups, and it really helped them.

Hi! I am thinking of applying to Lakeview this fall to start in spring. I am having trouble deciding between Danville and EIU. My instinct is to choose EIU because I like being around tons of students and I've heard that Charleston is a safer town than Danville (although my sources are the internet, which is never to be trusted). What are the pros/cons of each campus?
