I am moving to Wisconsin from MO. I will be living along the shore of Lake Michigan. Need some advice about the tech schools in the area for my RN. I am torn between NWTC and LTC. LTC is convenient to where I will be living, but I have heard some amazing things about the instructors at NWTC, can anyone give me any first hand advice? Thanks in advance!

I'm happy to hear you're interested in technical colleges in Wisconsin. I am Brian Krogh, Associate Dean for Health Sciences, and I oversee nursing programs at NWTC. Some facts that might help you decide:
-Students admitted to our nursing programs are well-prepared to succeed; NCLEX pass rates for our students are around 94%.
-Theory courses can be taken online to reduce your commute.
-We have transfer agreements with Wisconsin colleges and universities to help you complete a future BSN if you're interested.
-Our clinical agency partners provide our students with exceptional clinical experiences. We can work with you on finding clinical locations that are convenient.
-We have a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2014 and opportunities to hone your critical thinking skills with high-tech simulation suites.
I would be happy to give you a tour of the nursing floors and answer your questions about returning to college as an adult nursing student. If you would like to meet some of our faculty I would be happy to facilitate.
If I can be of any more assistance, let me know!
