I am glad the date was pushed back too! It wouldn't have given us much time to get everything done. And that's good you can still go on your vacation!

I am still waiting to hear from financial aid about my Pell Grant. That had been a nightmare! But I am going to get my second PPD on Friday and all that will be left is my third Hep B vaccine but they said I need to wait until May to do it. Still have to do finger printing too! I ordered my scrubs this morning but still need to find some shoes.

Were you you able to register? When I went up there I could only fill out Floirda Residency, they said the schedules weren't complete for me to register yet.

No doubt, all of the time schedules seem very tight & rushed!

I am too, I actually went up there yesterday and nobody could give me a straight forward answer about my FAFSA Aid. I was given a Advisory Receipt with the amount that due to start class.

I had a big pain in the ass dealing with getting my vaccines in order seeing as the state of Florida did not have my shot records which fortunately my high school did! Then I went and had everything done / filled out, both TB tests within the past month and my DPT which I was way over due for haha. The fingerprinting was really, really quick done at the school board.

I went to the school / financial aide office and filled out a bunch of paperwork about my aid. I believe that was the registration paperwork?

Some of this stuff is really lucrative & confusing

Update time :)

Finally registered, paid what I had to pay out of pocket, bought the first book and have all my scrubs ordered.

Now to just start class. Beyond excited!

It's getting closer! I applied for scholarship for this one month term so I can use Pell in the fall and paid my remainder out of pocket. I have to go back up and get my book though. I'm glad they only require one the first day! I got my Student ID and parking sticker today also.

Just waiting on scrubs to come in and still have to find shoes that are not completely ugly. haha. Ready for the 3rd!!!

Awesome and same here. I was trying to find some all black nikes but the lady at the scrub store advised me not to get something like that because they may not allow it. ... style > comfort haha.

Yeah that's what I was looking for too. I actually found Nike Cortez in men's in all black. The women's version has white in it so I was planning on getting the men's. They aren't terribly expensive either. The only other sneaker I have found that isn't huge is reebok classics. Not my fav though lol. The paper said Oxford or sneaker type just as long as all markings are black so I think they should be ok. I'm not really wanting to pay for nursing clogs or wear them

Glad I'm not the only one. I picked up a pair of the Oxford's from DesignLab at the tune of $65. If I know I can get away with having an all black logo I'm going to make a custom pair of Nike's and order them.

It's getting close though. I literally have everything ready for the first day. I feel like a kid again going into High School haha.

When I ordered my scrubs I asked about shoes and the lady told me they didn't have any their that I could get. I ended up getting a closed heal pair of clog type. They look like danskos but I found them on sale for $40. Hopefully they are allowed. But I was thinking the same thing about Nike. I built a pair on the website the other day and would much rather wear those!

I picked up up my scrubs this afternoon and have my background check tomorrow and am finally getting my book tomorrow. After that I will be set.

I know what you mean. I have my first day of school outfit out- well I guess technically second since we are business casual on day one. The next few weeks are going to fly!
