Can't offer much insight on the better program. Im a student at LAVC-not in the nursing program though. But I do know that the nursing facility is in a brand spanking new building with new equipment. That's all that I can tell you. I believe, though you've already probably checked, that the nclex pass rate is higher at LAVC.
Damn what's your secret to getting into two schools? These days someone will be lucky to get into one nursing school rather than two! The clear choice is, LAVC of course! I've been to both schools and I'm currently attending LAVC. I hope you chose LAVC! We have all new equipment not to mention a whole new BUILDING for the nursing department. I have classes in that building and it's great!
I'm just curious about how did you get accepted into 2 schools? Lucky you..what's your teas score and your gpa if you don't mind..I am currently applying in those schools and the letter will be mailed somewhere in December this year. I just want to have an estimate for my own chance of getting accepted based on your experience..Im happy if anybody could share some inputs..tnx!

i recently got accepted to both los angeles city college AND los angeles valley college & upon googling the crap out of both schools to see which one was better i've come up with...
LAVC being the top choice. BUT. i need some feedback on students that actually went to school (either LACC or LAVC).
is LACC really that under funded & under staffed? i want to go there because it's literally two blocks away from my house and i'm going to assume that the clinical sites will be a lot closer too the LACC area.
but if LACC is really THAT bad of a school then i guess i can study during the traffic on the 101. HA!
but really, can you guys HEEEEEEEEELLLPPPP!?
I have until June 12 to decide.
