LACC Spring 2020

Has anyone heard anything?? Was reading in other threads that Nov.1 students were receiving calls.

Hi, I received an alternate letter via email yesterday afternoon. It said to please accept the alternate spot by this Friday at 5 P.M. It didn't say what number I am though.

Maybe they will let let you know the day of orientation. Did they send you the dates?

I called last Tuesday and they said they were going to call through out the week about if you made it into the lottery or not. I still haven’t received a call. I went to see the counselor and he told me my stats made me pass the 80% cut score so I’m confused why I never got a call.

I didn’t get a call of acceptance I was e-mailed with the letter of acceptance and information about orientation. Did you check your junk mail box? Mine was in there for some reason.
I called LACC to confirm I was accepted.

Yes, the dates are the 18th and 19th. The letter said to be prepared to attend if I am contacted.

I was also accepted!

This is my first time posting on here.

I was also placed as an alternate for LACC. I called this morning to see where I stand (spot # wise), and the person on the phone said they are doing things differently this year but not giving out numbers. He basically said to keep a look out for a phone call to see if you were chosen or not.

Thanks for that information! I was curious as to why we were not given numbers but I’m assuming they will wait to see how many accept their alternate spots and then go from there.
