Starting this thread for us applying for Fall of 2024.

From app submission to interview email, how long did it take for y'all to hear back?

I'd say about a week to complete submission. They will email you for more application materials. I heard back the next day after mine was completely submitted

My final letter of rec was completed on Dec 1 as one of my anesthesiologists submitted it that morning. That evening I had an interview offer.

My folder was considered complete and forwarded over to the DNAP committee on Monday. Haven't heard anything from anybody since then. I'm really trying to be patient. Do y'all think I still have a chance and should just give it a little more time?

I'd say there's always a chance. That being said I'll give you the information that was given to me - as of yesterday I was told there are 5 remaining spots, but that no additional applications were being reviewed for this cycle. When/where that line was drawn I don't know, if they're going by the actual application submission vs waiting for the supplemental materials for the actual completed application *shrugs*

Yea this definitely sucks  to hear. I'll just try stay positive and see what happens.

Hi, 

I am trying to find more info about the program on their website but not much. I guess 2024 will be the first graduation? Can you share your experience about the program so far? Do they offer online interview?

What are you looking for that you can't find? Stats? There aren't any stats yet. My experience so far with the program and the staff are that they are very approachable. I genuinely feel like they want us to succeed and feel like there will be support from them as we navigate over these next 3 years. They don't generally offer online interviews but there was one or two exceptions made for someone who was traveling from like Hawaii or something lilke that. As a whole though interviews will be in person.

Thank you so much! I'm glad thay you're enjoying the program. Can you share some interview experience? Did they focus on clinical questions or emotional intelligence? I wonder how many students they accept per cohort. Thanks again!

It's been my understanding that there's a decent amount of EI for most interviews but some younger nurses have gotten some clinical questions as well. Our cohort took about 25 this year. We start next month.

hi I'm applying for the class of 2025. have you experienced any repercussions from the changing of faculty? I'm still anxiously waiting to hear back about interviews
