Ok, so I am trying to figure out what this all means. They just sent me an email and it has a number. What does this mean exactly? I'm so confused.

So the number I received is the number in line that I am to be selected? Karla Lima just wrote me back and said that number is the lottery result, and now we must wait to see who will accept their admission acceptance and who will decline. She said she sent out 30 letters.

Anymore clarification on the status of my number? I still don't quite understand. If my number is 39 and they took 30 students, then would that put me in 9th place to be called as an alternate?

Hi! I got an email today that I was on the waitlist apparently. I got number 39. Does anyone know how many people are on the waitlist and what it means? Is that just a lotto number or do they actually pick people by their grades/application.

I think that means that you're 39 on the waitlist? I'm not sure, since I was accepted, but that would be my guess.I'm not sure if they count the students they sent letters to, that would be you're actually #9 and not 39. But my guess is that its not including the 30 people they sent letters too. I hope its the first. Everyone on here is super friendly, and I can't wait to meet you all!

Hey kelsey, I got ranked at number #32. I called the secretary immediately after I got the email for clarification. So your number is a result of the lottery order AND is (to my knowledge from the secretary) INCLUDING the 30 letters that already went out. So people ranked 1-30 already got there admission letters. Now the question is how they will organize declines and such. Will they tell each next person on the list one by one as the declines come in or all at once, or in groups. UGH so stressful I feel you. So much room for confusion the way everything was worded too.

However to ease the stress I have a friend who is attending moorpark but got accepted to pierce. So thats one person down in front of us.

Got it!! All that info helps so much. I was so confused on what the number was and then there was no explanation! #32 is a great number lol so close!! Thanks so much for your guys help. I will let you know if I get anymore updates on my end!!

Hey Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any information on Pierce's program?? I got into both Moorpark and Pierce and I am having trouble deciding which to go to. I know more about Moorpark but any information would be greatly appreciated.
