I applied to Kingwood's quest online nursing program for fall of 2011. Can anyone tell me who's gone through the program what the typical schedule looks like? I know that they said that it is a more flexible schedule. Also, does anyone know what the cut off score was for the last time that they offered this program? I am anxious while I wait to hear back.
Well I am excited to meet you all at orientation. I am sooo excited. I was shaking when I went to open my letter. Does anyone have any idea what the class schedule is going to be like. I know that lecture is online and clinicals can be done in the evening or on weekends. I know we have to come to campus for lab but I don't know if it is going to be afternoon or evening hours.
I personally have no idea what the schedule will be like.I applied because I figured anything other than 5 days a week in school would be better for me...working full time with a 15 month old. Hopefully we will find out more soon. Just wish there was more info about how the program works online. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!
2brn09---on the website there was nothing saying that you have to be a Texas resident to be eligible for the program. The only requirement that I saw that sets it apart from the other ADN programs is that it is for applicants with a prior degree.
On the Conditional Intent to Enroll form they ask whether you currently have a CPR card for Healthcare Providers. Looks like the deadline for certification is August 8th but I am afraid to answer 'No' to the question regarding certification. I am wondering if I should get certified before sending my Intent to Enroll form back. Does anyone else know any further details as to why they ask if you're certified?
@LeslieWas - I would think that they asked about your CPR cert because they can get a group together and get a group rate. If you need a recommendation for taking the class, my former lab partner is an instructor and extremely reasonable. She is in the Woodlands, but will travel for a group.

Thanx SunshinesArt. That would be great! Anyone on this site interested? I will wait for a bit and let you know if I can get a group together.
I feel like a crazy person. I was on this site last night looking at tons of other posts. It sucks that there aren't many posts regarding the Quest program (I guess because it has been off and on).-- I am so excited for orientation. I keep looking at my letter to make sure that my name actually appears at the top. Can't wait to meet you all soon!
I had taken my CPR course at Cyfair Volunteer Fire Department last month. it was only $20 for two hours. I had applied to all of the Lonestar campuses including the Quest and I was accepted at Cyfair as well. I am attending quest because that's what I wanted. Cyfair requires that you have the CPR as a condition of securing your space, which is why I got it. However, it seems like for quest it isn't needed as a condition to secure your spot. I keep checking my letter as well. I put it in a very secure place in case my house gets broken into (knock on wood) they will not take the letter. They can take anything else as long s it's not my acceptance letter to quest. LOL.
