  1. Awseome story!!!! That was a good laugh.
  2. This fall there were two programs that Kingwood was offering. They were offering the tradiational face to face program transition program for those who are LVNs etc. The other program that they were offering was the Quest Online nursing program. For the Quest online program they were going to accept a total of 80 students. Of those 80 students, 40 were going to be accepted for the transition program and 40 students were going to be accepted for the second degree program. Apparantly, there were not enough applicants for the online transition program, which is why those who applied to that portion received a phone call stating that they could either opt to apply to the face to face transition program or the second degree online accelerated option.
  3. I had applied to Cyfair because it is close to the house and just in case I didn't get into Quest. However, I am in so they are going to give my spot to an alternate at Cyfair.
  4. I had taken my CPR course at Cyfair Volunteer Fire Department last month. it was only $20 for two hours. I had applied to all of the Lonestar campuses including the Quest and I was accepted at Cyfair as well. I am attending quest because that's what I wanted. Cyfair requires that you have the CPR as a condition of securing your space, which is why I got it. However, it seems like for quest it isn't needed as a condition to secure your spot. I keep checking my letter as well. I put it in a very secure place in case my house gets broken into (knock on wood) they will not take the letter. They can take anything else as long s it's not my acceptance letter to quest. LOL.
  5. Does anyone know if we are to drop the letter of intent to enroll off personally to the Kingwood nursing department because I didn't see a mailing address where we can send it in. I live in Katy and I am trying to save a drive.
  6. I would just answer it and send it in as soon as possible. I didn't see anything on the requirements as far as having a CPR certification by a certain time. I am sure they may discuss that more during orientation.
  7. You do not have to be a Texas resident. You will just have to pay more for tuition etc. However, the deadline for the online program was on May 20th. I am not sure when they will offer the program again.
  8. Well I am excited to meet you all at orientation. I am sooo excited. I was shaking when I went to open my letter. Does anyone have any idea what the class schedule is going to be like. I know that lecture is online and clinicals can be done in the evening or on weekends. I know we have to come to campus for lab but I don't know if it is going to be afternoon or evening hours.
  9. I was told that they accept 40 second degree students and 40 transition students.
  10. I am sssoooooo happy!!! I was excited into Kingwood's Quest online nursing program!!!! WooHoooooo!!!!!!
  11. You have a really good score. I am sure you will get in. Best of luck to you as well.
  12. I haven't heard anything yet. On the website it said that we would be notified in late June. I won't be able to completely relax until I find out. What was your score if you don't mind me asking? Mine was 11.6464.
  13. I applied to Kingwood's quest online nursing program for fall of 2011. Can anyone tell me who's gone through the program what the typical schedule looks like? I know that they said that it is a more flexible schedule. Also, does anyone know what the cut off score was for the last time that they offered this program? I am anxious while I wait to hear back.
