I just applied online to many job openings of Kindred hospital specifically in Houston area.
Im a newly licensed TX RN. Do they hire RN with no experience?
Anyone who has any experiences with Kindred Hospital? Please share. Thanks.

So I don't live in Texas but I was hired as a new grad nurse (0 experience) at a kindred hospital
How was your experience with kindred?

I was once employed by a Kindred facility in North Texas. While their pay rates are competitive and they do hire new grads, they generally have a rather shady reputation as profit-driven cash cows. Kindred accepts the most difficult, highest acuity patients that have been rejected by other healthcare facilities.
How long have you worked there? How was your experience?
I don't hate it. The orientation was way too short(4 weeks for a new grad). 6 patients is hard. Really hard but you just have to accept nothing gets down on time and move on
Thanks! I will start my orientation next week. Any suggestions to prepare myself?
Just stay calm and do ur best. That's you can really do.

Hi Atom2013
I was wondering how is work at kindred? I got an offer from a kindred in Florida and I am not sure if Its good idea for me to take it? I am also a new graduate and the orientation is for 6 weeks. I have heard so many bad things about kindred that I hesitate to accept the offer..
