Kidney Stones

I'm assuming you are seeing a urologist. What does s/he think is causing the problem? There are so many different contributing factors in kidney stone formation, it would be impossible to offer any guidance at all without knowing some basics, e.g. what kind of stones you've had (calcium oxalate being the most common), how many episodes you've been through, what your diet and fluid intake is like, bladder habits etc.

I feel for you, hon........I had one horrendous attack in which both the bladder and the kidney contained large stones I couldn't pass on my own, and the pain.......well, I'd go through unmedicated childbirth ten times over before having another kidney stone, if I had to choose between them. On a pain scale of 0-10, that pain was a 12.5 at least! :crying2:

I get them. I have one malformed ureter that may contribute. When I get them I know it is time for me to lay off the coffee.
