Length required to finish msn at eku

Does eku allow you to finish their psych np program at your own pace or are you part of a cohort?

PI am presently enrolled in gonzaga and am looking to transfer because their program is almost 4 years for a msn psych np. I was wondering if eku would be shorter

thanks

From what I understand, you are part of a cohort that begins in summer, fall or spring semester start times. They do allow up to 12 transfer credits (I spoke with Lindsey Turner at EKU). Starting and stopping their program is allowed under extenuating circumstances (what my question was for them), but after the first year, the courses are only offered once per year, according to Lindsey, so, if you get off schedule, you may have to wait one year to rejoin the course sequence. I have no idea if they accept transfer students from other PMHNP programs. There programs are not short......about 3 years on average, though the spring start time looks like 2+. Have you looked at University of South Alabama? Their program looks shorter....How do you like Gonzaga except for the long timeframe? I hear it is an excellent program.
