Applied for the Accelerated BSN program at Kent for Fall 2018! I know the university had a prerequisite shift this year-has anyone applied? Understand the "point system?"
With Adults, there is a TON of information to learn. You are basically learning everything you need to know medically in this course. My suggestion is to stay on top of and/or ahead of your studies for this course. Do flashcards especially for your diseases (signs/symptoms, treatment, meds, nursing considerations, etc.) Soak up everything you can in clinical skill wise because you won’t get much opportunity skills wise in Peds/Community/OB. Instructors are pretty cool but expect you to know your stuff! This class is essential, no easy but not extremely difficult either.
Policy is pretty easy and straight forward depending on your instructor. FOLLOW THE RUBRICS WORD FOR WORD in all of your online courses or else you will lose unnecessary points. (Rolls eyes) Policy is big on APA so make sure you brush up on that prior to starting the course! Also, do not hesitate to reach out to your instructor with any questions.
stay on top of your studies and apply yourself and you’ll be just fine. ?

I think the cost of uniforms and background check are due at orientation. The fees and testing fee can be added to a payment plan and you can set up with one stop. the other stuff cpr, immunizations and clinical supplies are due before clinicals in October.
