Applied for the Accelerated BSN program at Kent for Fall 2018! I know the university had a prerequisite shift this year-has anyone applied? Understand the "point system?"

Not sure-but I am assuming most people just ask for the day cohort. No one wants to spend their nights and weekends in school unless your crazy like me! Lol. Seriously though-it just works best for my schedule! I may be in the same class after all!

I'm thinking less people applied because of the prerequisite shift this fall. Pretty hefty prerequisites, I had to take two semesters of additional coursework (unrelated undergrad). It's good not to have to do any additional coursework during the sequence though.
Oh I agree Completely! I also had 2 semesters of extra work to do but it'll be worth it once in. There are so many Accelerated BSN programs in northeast Ohio too now it's ridiculous and each of them have their own criteria. I'm sure a lot of people also applied to other programs as well-I didn't. I hate hat we don't hear back until late in year though-really cuts us off for a bunch of scholarship opportunities. The closer it gets to finding out whether we are in or not, the scarier it gets! Ive never been so excited and so terrified at the same time! Did you guys apply anywhere else?

Also just got my acceptance e-mail!
Me too!!! I'm accepted! Thank you God!
I got in too!!!!!
Congratulations everyone!!!
Do you guys know when we will have to pay for the onboarding cost?
I would guess they need to be paid at orientation. In the acceptance email it states that within a week of sending your statement of intent they will send information on how to prepare for orientation which hopefully will provide info on when fees are due and what not!
Thank you :)
